ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Vic, having been surrounded by this extraordinarily creative, musical environment, taught himself to play guitar as a teenager and started performing as early as his formative high school years in live stage productions. He went on to master his skills at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, while performing in a series of show bands. After one year at LSU he transferred to North Texas State University to complete his education where he majored in Music. He kept busy by day as a student and at night by performing in show bands. In his rare, spare time he enjoyed flying and successfully acquired his pilot’s license.

Touring with  THE Frank Sinatra JR. BAND

After graduating from North Texas State University, he was offered a position in the Frank Sinatra Jr. Band. Vic traveled with Frank for several years, playing both bass and guitar. A life on the road ensued with a whirlwind schedule of international band tours and big-name talent that introduced him to the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada where a thriving music industry with a plethora of live band and orchestra performances was the around-the-clock norm. It was, and still is today, a constant lure for the brightest stars and the most talented musicians from all over the world to work in "The Entertainment Capital of the World."

Working in  Las Vegas SHOWROOMS

Vic moved to Las Vegas where he met his wife, Norma. Their first date was a grand “sky tour” of the lights of Vegas with him serving as both tour guide and pilot. After a romantic courtship and subsequent engagement, Vic and Norma were married. As the time was right to settle into married life and raise a family, Vic decided that his band touring days were over. He was offered a position in the Main Showroom at Caesars Palace. He worked there for several years and then moved to the Harrah’s Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas Showroom Orchestra. During the course of his Las Vegas career, while performing in two of the top Resort Hotel & Casinos, he was privileged to work with some of the finest singers and entertainers, like Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gormé, Lena Horne, Sammy Davis Jr. and many others.

A visitation from  GOD with MIRACLES

During Vic and Norma’s courtship, they both experienced a remarkable visitation from God and were never the same after that. They were soon married, not only to each other, but also to God, which started them on a daily quest to know more of this Wonderful, Loving God and being filled by the Holy Spirit with exuberant love, joy, and peace, the hallmarks of the kingdom of God. And so began a new season in Vic’s life. Zealously seeking to serve with the musical talent that God had so richly blessed him with, he and Norma became involved with several local Christian churches and charitable ministries. They opened their home to Bible studies and home church gatherings, which had an impact on many lives. Many experienced the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit flowed freely with powerful manifestations. Testimonies of miracles, signs, and wonders became the new normal.

Vic’s heart to worship God with music became his new passion. He was inspired with a dream to establish a ministry named Miracle Music. Armed with faith and solid evidence that God still performs miracles, the vision to create and distribute music that glorified and brought the Miracle Worker to the front and center of people’s lives, burned in his soul.

A new  PASSION for Worship

At that time, Vic also began to organize and perform live stage performances, along with a team of like-minded musicians for several ministries in Las Vegas including, for example, a special Easter Service in one of the Vegas showrooms. Because of his skill for putting bands together, Vic was asked to contract and manage the live orchestra for Katheryn Kuhlman in her last appearance in Las Vegas, attracting a crowd of eight thousand in the Las Vegas Convention Center with thousands more waiting to get in. A reporter for Logos Journal wrote, "They were all there. The casino operators. The prostitutes. The gamblers. The entertainers. The chorus girls. The strippers. The blackjack dealers. Plus, the Christian community, who had worked so hard prior to her arrival.”

Vic soon discovered a new and dedicated motivation for writing and recording. He wrote, arranged, and recorded hundreds of instrumental, soloist, and congregational worship songs, many birthed through hours of prayer and personal worship. With this new inspired direction, he founded and fully equipped his state-of-the-art recording studio, named Star Studio.

Managing his own  STAR STUDIO IN Las Vegas

In his own Star Studio, Vic played guitar, bass, and banjo. He was a music writer, arranger, and producer for many talented singers and musicians who would contract with Star Studio for their music projects. He aimed to compile a library of pre-recorded, live performance and single musical instruments, all recorded with a desire to steer from artificially produced computer sounds, preferring instead the richer sound of live stage or sound studio performances. He enjoyed years of operating out of and managing Star Studio, creating his own arrangements and serving other recording artists.

The Quiet Waters Album is a themed collection of eleven of Vic’s worship songs, selected from his instrumental library. Other albums, with and without vocals are extracted from the best of Vic’s years of recording and flowing out of many intense adoration and prayer sessions. in these collections, Miracle Music presents Vic’s own writing, arranging, and “performance for an audience of one,” the Lord of Glory. We at Miracle Music Ministries hope Vic’s expression of love and praise to our Creator will inspire listeners to draw near to God to worship with a grateful, humble and adoring heart.

From his heart  THE MUSIC FLOWS

From Vic’s Louisiana, Cajun-French roots, he was taught to always serve with “lagniappe” or translated, “a little extra.” We pray that the “Lagniappe of God” will be yours as you listen, enjoy, and are saturated with the Spirit of His Presence. From Vic’s heart of worship, his music flows with abundant love to your heart and comes with the added, extra benefit of the powerful working of the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead and performed miracle after miracle for those who believed.

We pray that your faith will soar as you listen. We are confident that you will feel the tangible Presence of His Glory envelope you and will experience, as we have at Miracle Music, the same miracles written in the Book of Acts.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)

Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know. Acts 2:22 (NKJV)

Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:18b-19 (NKJV)
